As its name implies, Carclew Corner sits on the corner of Carclew Street in the desirable city of Truro. Please note that whilst the holiday home does not have private parking, public parking is available nearby at Garras Wharf Long Stay Carpark. Alternatively, Truro is well connected by railway to London Paddington and the rest of the UK.

Step inside

Giving a real sense of comfort and luxury, Carclew Corner has been furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. From the sumptuous oyster grey velvet sofa, to the attractive cast iron fireplace, and the striking floor rug in complimentary earthy colours, the open plan living area has been impeccably put together.

A large flat-screen television with all your favourite channels, plus books, games, and complimentary magazines are available for those times when you’re ready to unwind.

The space also incorporates a dining area that is enhanced by a decorative brick accent wall – dividing the dining and kitchen areas.

Oak floors flow into the horseshoe-shaped kitchen that has been fitted with handsome dark blue cupboards and sleek wooden worktops. For extra workspace, there is also a handy coffee-making station tucked under the stairs. This is equipped with a coffee machine, a microwave, and a wine rack – Carclew is a holiday home where no amenities have been forgotten!

Upstairs, three luxury bedrooms await – two double bedrooms and one single. Painted in energising shades of blue, with the finest quality linen and soft furnishings, all Carclew’s bedrooms have been designed for a restful night’s sleep.  Accessorised with Cornish-inspired artwork, nautical home accessories, or designer wallpaper, each of the rooms has a charm of its own.

Guests can also enjoy the luxury of a modern family bathroom that boasts a roomy walk-in shower and on-trend black fittings. A colour scheme of navy and grey works in harmony with mosaic effect tiling, and a driftwood sailing boat on the wall is a gorgeous reminder of Carclew’s proximity to the river and coast.

Outside

Carclew Corner benefits from a private courtyard garden that can be accessed from the open-plan living area, or from the outside along a side path.

Styled in a similar way to the smart interior, the courtyard has deep blue walls and unique palm leaf metalwork that adds interest and creates a lovely ambiance. There is also a bistro table and chair set that provides the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and some nibbles at the end of a busy day exploring Truro!
